THAILAND
Elephant Sanctuary
We re committed to ethical elephant tourism, ensuring all encounters adhere to our best practice guidelines, and animal welfare regulations. We do not ride or bathe with the elephants and the sanctuaries we've chosen to visit in Phuket and Chiang Mai allow their elephants to live freely in a protected environment. By choosing ethical sanctuaries, we help support conservation efforts while educating group members on responsible wildlife tourism.

Temple Visits
This experience connects group members to Thailand’s rich spiritual traditions with local guides James Bond and Sompong. Starting with an offering and blessing from monks, the day continues with visits to Wat Changsonkram and Wat Po, where group leaders share insights into Buddhism and temple history. Supporting local vendors is an integral part of the experience, whether through enjoying some local fruit outside the temple or refreshments along the Chao Phraya River. This excursion blends cultural education with responsible tourism by directly benefiting local communities.
Cooking Class
Group members get hands-on with Thailand’s vibrant food culture in a cooking class led by a local chef. They’ll prepare three vegetarian dishes using fresh, locally sourced ingredients while also embracing Thai traditions by wearing cultural attire and participating in a dance. This experience supports local businesses and promotes sustainable food practices, reinforcing the importance of responsible tourism.

Jungle Experience
Staying with the Karen hill tribe provides an authentic insight into their way of life. Led by local guide Lan, group members will explore the village, visit a jungle temple, and hike through stunning landscapes before spending a night camping. Activities such as waterfall swimming and traditional games create a meaningful cultural exchange while ensuring tourism directly benefits the local community and respects their traditions.
Mr You's Farm
Sustainable farming takes centre stage at Mr. You’s farm, where group members learn about traditional agriculture and its role in the local economy. Depending on the season, they may enjoy tubing on recycled tyres or take a guided walk through the farmland. This visit promotes awareness of responsible food sourcing while fostering a connection between travellers and the farming community.

Muay Thai
A session with two-time world champion Master Chin offers a dynamic introduction to Thailand’s national sport. Group members will learn basic Muay Thai techniques, pick up Thai language commands, and gain insight into the cultural significance of this martial art. Supporting local gyms and fighters ensures that this tradition continues to thrive while providing an authentic and engaging experience.
Doi Suthep
A visit to the iconic Doi Suthep temple is an opportunity to explore Thailand’s spiritual heritage with a knowledgeable local guide. Group members will learn about the temple’s history, cultural significance, and Buddhist practices while taking in breathtaking views. This experience encourages respectful tourism by promoting understanding of local customs and traditions.

Donation Boxes
We have a donation box at our property on Koh Phangan where group members and guests can donate their small change. All money donated goes to the Phangan Animal Care for Strays - a local charity that looks after stray cats and dogs, providing vital care, vaccinations, sterilisations, community education and adoption services.
