School Visit on Calibangbanga
Our visits to Calibangbangan Island provide an opportunity to support the island’s only school while engaging with the local Aboriginal community. This school is currently expanding to accommodate older students, and donations from travellers help fund the development of new classrooms and resources.
As part of the visit, group members can assist teachers, join a Tagalog language session, and interact with students through play and cultural exchanges. When possible, children perform traditional dances, offering an authentic insight into their heritage. These visits not only enhance group members’ understanding of island life but also contribute directly to the education and well-being of local students.

El Trinidad Farm
El Trinidad Farm is a family-run property that champions sustainable agriculture through organic, machinery-free farming techniques. Owned by Lisille and Caesar’s family for three generations, the farm demonstrates environmentally friendly practices, including using water buffalo for tilling and operating a community pantry that provides fresh produce to locals in need.
Group members will learn about the bartering system, where community members exchange farm work for food, reinforcing local self-sufficiency. The experience includes a farm-to-table meal and a cultural dance performance by local schoolchildren, led by Caesar himself. This visit showcases the powerful connection between sustainability, cultural heritage, and community empowerment, making it an essential part of our commitment to responsible tourism.
